Passengers can book rides through a dedicated mobile app, which provides real-time tracking and route information. The expansion aims to reduce reliance on private vehicles, alleviate traffic congestion, and lower carbon emissions, contributing to the UAE's net-zero targets. This initiative builds upon successful pilot programs and integrates seamlessly with existing bus, tram, and taxi services, offering a comprehensive and interconnected transport solution.Expatriates and residents are encouraged to download the new "Abu Dhabi Go" app for discounted fares during the initial launch period. The DMT plans further expansion, including connections to Abu Dhabi International Airport and cultural landmarks, making it easier for expats to navigate the city without owning a car. This forward-thinking approach to public transportation is set to redefine urban commuting and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
