Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) today inaugurated the much-anticipated extension of the Dubai Metro Green Line. The new phase adds three stations, connecting key residential areas in the Al Qudra corridor directly to the existing metro network. This expansion is set to significantly reduce commute times and traffic congestion for thousands of residents, particularly those living in newly developed communities on the city's outskirts.The project, part of Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan, aims to develop an integrated and sustainable transport system. Expats living in these previously underserved areas will now have direct, efficient access to business districts, educational institutions, and leisure attractions, reducing reliance on private vehicles.
